Here is another satellite image of the plume. Can you find it?

The freshwater plume from the Hudson River flows out into the Atlantic Ocean.

In these enhanced satellite images you can see the plume travelling along the coast of New Jersey. Water that came from the Hudson River shows up as light green and brown while ocean waters are dark blue. River water tends to be a different color than ocean water because it carries a lot of sediment washed off from the land.
